Voodoo Rhythm Records, a Swedish garage & rockabilly label, hired me to shoot the cover for one of their newly signed bands, The Pussywarmers. I listened to their music and fell in love with it so I was quick to take the gig (not the kind of music you’d expect from a band with a crass name like that…very traditional/folksy with accordian, tuba, banjo, etc). The label owner wanted a fairly literal translation of the bands name. I sent them several options and this was the photo they chose.
