I’ve been on a vintage camera kick lately, finding a Yashica Mat 124, Yashica Electro 35 GSN Rangefinder and the below pictured Minolta Hi-Matic 7S. These days digital has made everything so quick and easy it’s almost heartbreaking to see the serious lack of respect photography is currently receiving. My public service announcement for the day is: Slow down, take a step back and go shoot a roll of film. Grab an all-manual body and a light meter and reflect upon where our modern equipment came from. Afterward, your digital equipment will take on a whole new light and you just may start looking at things a little different.
