Thanks to stuntkid for location
Thanks to Elizabeth Tolley for makeup
Sorry for the delay, due to my new job I can really only edit on weekends. This is another set we did, found this hat in her suitcase and it looked interesting so we decided to use it. originally the hair was going to be way bigger but it ended up being a pain in the ass for her to do. hope you enjoy. still have a couple more coming haha, sorry I take sooooo long.

flickr makes the bright areas a little too bright..its tolerable
Here’s another set from the long weekend.
It was hot as crap outside and since she is from Canada, I think it was devastating for her haha. seriously…
We took refuge in shade behind Stuntkids place and wam bam thank you mam.
I’ll have a couple more after this to post!
enjoy obscura dudezZz

haven’t posted in a while I think? Anyways, one of the guys I know just got signed to an agency which is pretty cool and needed more “classy” shots rather than your typical I am strong and will always have my shirt off look. Thanks to another friend who is a real estate agent we can pretty much get into any house that is for sale. That being said we just chose some random huge house out in norfolk that had pretty cool wood floors which I did not utilize in the shot I am about to show. I will probably have more edits up soon but I hate having to choose from a bunch, really mind numbing.
Heres my first edit.

My shoot with Liz Harlow.
Quick video on how I got some of the images. It was cold and I did not feel like having to plug in three alienbees so I went with my trusty speedlights since I didn’t require too much power. I would have liked to use umbrellas/softboxes as rim but I can’t always have my way.
Enjoy!
There are a couple more looks I need to edit, but I hope you enjoy what I have so far. Thanks to Justin(7cities) who helped me out for the whole 7 hours. We recorded video as well but I don’t have a firewire cable so once I get that I’ll give you an update.
Enjoy!

Featuring a few Obscura contributors. Promises to be a good time.

I decided to give a quick walk through on how I edited the Raquel image. This was pretty spur of the moment. It is pretty vague but gives you the rundown on how I do things.

Had to shoot the boys in We Were Gentlemen again. They just got signed to Century Media so they need new pictures for there promotional campaign. This time I had a lot more equipment! We did two days of shooting, one in the back of Jillians in an empty ballroom type area, and one the next day in an abandoned warehouse that Natchez showed me.
anyways, heres the shots. if you need to view lighting just click the images, they will take you straight to my flickr!
A couple friends(JMB, Stuntkid) and I had a little triple team action and shot a model Raquel Reed from NYC. We got to shoot in an abandoned building which is soon to be renovated. The place was about 3 – 4 floors of sweetness. I ended up shooting last of the three since I had to back class…. exactly.
Elizabeth Tolley was awesome enough to drive up from Charlotte, NC, we are such an awesome team I swear. And Jason(Stuntkid) got Al Kelly who is awesome with hair.
I am kind of glad I shot last because I tried at least 4 light setup before actually shooting Raquel. 3 of which I thought up in my head but had ended up looking nothing like I thought it would. Anyways, I ended up using my abr800 as main and 2 strobes to each side highlighting the wall and her frame a little bit. I am overall happy with these shots, the colors pop out perfectly just like I imagined them too.
enjoy.
